Baggage Policy of Thai Airways

Checked baggage policy for domestic flights allows passengers to carry bags for free with the total weight not exceeding 40 Kg for Royal Silk Class, 30 Kg for Premium Economy Class and Economy class. For international flights, the checked baggage allowance is subjected to change as per the destination. Carry-on baggage allowance allows passengers to carry one bag with dimensions not exceeding length 56 cm, width 45 cm and thickness 25 cm and weight limited to 7 Kg. One additional small item like purse or laptop can be carried along with the carry-on baggage.

International Flights Booking Procedure

For international flights, you need to carry your passport, Visa and medical certificate if required. Hand baggage and weight should be according to the flight rules which you will travel. The items, for example, knife, lighter, matchbox, and chemicals, etc. are not permitted to carry for security reasons according to Dangerous Goods Regulations Act (DGR). Check-in should be done least 3hrs. preceding the flight time.
